The American Beaver
A Beaver is a rodent and is related to mice, squirrels, and chipmunks. The Beaver is the largest rodent in North America. The Beaver has a scaly, flat tail that helps him push himself in the water. In the Spring, Beavers make a lodge in a pond. In the Winter beavers supply themselves with tree bark.
